The ruling has been condemned by activist groups such as the ACLU, the League of Women Voters and the Center for Political Accountability, to name just a few. End Citizens United recently issued a complaint to the Federal Election Commission that claims that Rick Scott has been illegally obtaining funds in support of his campaign for the U.S. Senate.
